GIFT Global Leaders Programme: Globalisation, Business and Social Justice

The Global Institute for Tomorrow, a Hong Kong-based Think Tank, invited Farzana Aslam to speak at its 2016 Global Leaders Programme on “Globalisation, Business and Social Justice.”

The GLP kicked off in Hong Kong for a week of candid discussions, debate and role play. Participants explored how key trends in the 21st Century, such as resource constraints, climate change and increasing social externalities, shape today’s business landscape and how the rise of new models of governance are to be understood. Participants are pushed to challenge conventional thinking on topics such as the roles of government, civil society, the media and business ethics, and what this means for Asia.
