Event | Dialogue with a UN Expert on Why Human Rights Should be the Business of Business

Join me for Justice Centre Hong Kong’s upcoming event, where I will be joined by Dr Surya Devachair of the UN working committee on Business and Human Rights for a discussion on:

“Why should Human Rights be the Business of Business”

The event will take place on 16th November at 11.30am, at Mettā, 21/F California Tower.

Official Media Partner for the event is the Wall Street Journal.

Our dialogue will address how and why corporate actors might contribute to the fight against human trafficking, including:

  • What guidelines can businesses incorporate into their current ESG activities to ensure they are ahead of the curve on human rights issues?
  • What Hong Kong-specific principles might be adopted by corporate actors?
  • How will having these principles in place give businesses a more effective voice when it comes to shaping future Hong Kong policy debates?

Spaces are limited so please RSVP here to confirm your place and please circulate to others and to clients who may be interested in attending.
