Event | Looking at Age as a Competitive Advantage
What a fun evening! Many thanks to Priyanka Gothi, Founder and CEO of Retired Not Out (now Wise at Work), for organising and being such a fabulous moderator at last night’s event, ‘Looking at Age as a Competitive Advantage’. One of the big takeaways from the evening was the need for a more inclusive understanding of inclusion! Older workers represent not only an untapped talent pool, but a sector of the workforce that faces discrimination and negative stereotypes and biases, and yet diversity and inclusion efforts are rarely targeted at senior inclusion. By not paying enough attention to the needs and aspirations of this community companies are missing out on unique recruiting and business opportunities.
