Event | Benchmark Wealth Management Awards 2016 | Hong Kong

It was my pleasure to serve for the third year running as a judge for the Benchmark Wealth Management Awards for the Banking and Insurance Sectors.  I was one of the judges tasked with finding the best in class employers in the categories for Human Capital Development, and Diversity and Inclusion.  Awards of this nature are, to some extent, self-serving – companies nominate themselves.  However, over the course of the past three years I have observed an ever-increasing effort on the part of the employers who put themselves forward for these Awards to implement policies designed to support a healthier work-life balance, and enhance opportunities for women in the workplace.  There is no doubt in my mind that Awards of this nature encourage an internal focus on these important issues, and generate healthy competition among participants in the field.  This is something worth cheering about!
